Yonkers Community Action Program, Inc. (YCAP) is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation designated as Yonkers' anti-poverty agency under the Economic Opportunity Act of
1964 and has been serving this community for more than 30 years.

YCAP'S mission is to reduce poverty in the Yonkers community by providing programs and services that encourage financial independence, insure proper sustenance, supplement existing educational programs and provide full healthful recreation. We believe here at YCAP that we positively influence the Yonkers community and its citizens. By helping others we are a meaningful component to the surrounding community.
