  • Summer Leadership Program

    The YCAP Summer Leadership Program is designed to empower young people with leadership potential by helping them build confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills that last a lifetime. Through hands-on activities, mentorship, and structured work experiences, participants strengthen communication, teamwork, and decision-making abilities while gaining a strong work ethic. Youth in the program also have the opportunity to earn money while learning valuable life and leadership skills that prepare them for future education, employment, and community involvement.

  • Food Pantry & Food Truck

    The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) has been a vital partner in supporting YCAP and its mission to serve the community. Through this support, YCAP has been able to enhance its pantry facilities, ensuring greater access to nutritious food for families in need, expand outreach through the YCAP Food Truck to reach underserved neighborhoods, and strengthen its Summer Leadership Program for youth. CDBG's investment helps YCAP continue to provide essential services, promote community well-being, and create meaningful opportunities for residents across Yonkers.

    Special thanks to the City of Yonkers for their generous funding of YCAP's food truck that debuted on June 27, 2025.
