What services do you provide?
Our core programs consist of Food Pantry, Youth Workforce Development, Invisible Wounds, Rental/Utility Assistance, Drug Prevention Programs, and Back-to-School distributions. For information on all of our programs, please call (914) 423-5905 for additional information.
How do I apply for assistance?

What documents do I need to bring to register?
(1) Proof of address; (2) Proof of Income; and (3) Valid/Current Photo ID. Other documents might be required depending on the the service you are requesting, i.e. Proof of Con Edison bill if looking for utility assistance, or proof of rental arrears if applying for rental assistance.
Is there a cost for your services?
All of our services are free provided you live in the City of Yonkers and meet income requirements.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are accepted but your visit will be more efficient if an appointment is made.
How long does it take to receive help?
This is determined on a case-by-case basis but assistance is typically given within two weeks to a month based on funding.
What are YCAP's hours of operation?
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Pantry Distribution: Every other Friday from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. (twice per month)

Can you help me fill out forms or applications?
Yes, we have case managers onsite to assist with the application process.
How do you determine which programs to offer the community?
We conduct a copmrehensive Community Needs Assessment (CNA) to identify and implement the most effective programs for our target population. Please click the link for our latest CNA.
